I had a nice afternoon with Wen Today :)
We changed our Rose Garden afternoon tea plan to Japanese breakfast one, but we went to Bread and Soup at last. Let's try the Japanese restaurant next time, Wen. I like the atmosphere a lot, though I usually like places with brighter lights. So, I really enjoy the atmosphere in Bread and Soup - bright, clean, and a little noisy. When a place is too quiet, we can't talk about whatever we want in ease. I ordered a soup with bread to fill my empty stomach without breakfast or lunch.
I love creamy soup with mushroom (I know it's not good for girlish figure) !
Wen ordered a dessert combo, three sweets and a drink.
The dessert tastes not bad and the price for this kind of contents is very reasonable. So I ordered one set after the little bowl of soup which is definitely not enough for my stomach and the desire of dessert. I chose a royal milk tea cooked with Whisky in the set.
We talked about various things. From love, guys, ex, family, the extension of the social class topic. I kind of learn something from our easy but also meaningful conversation. Wen is really good at organizing her thoughts. Wen, you are right, you are really a kind of girl who is really good at express herself. I am never good at telling story or thoughts. I think you discovered this very early, haha. I mentioned in my articles before. My friends all have something I admire or something they can do but I can't. Wen, you have too much. That's why I think guys would like you easily. That's why sometimes I think you have really bright sparkle around you. Usually I would feel less confident with people like you. But now, I am so proud that I am your friend and we are this close. Being with you, I would feel like I should improve myself and then have something you can be proud of me, too. I realized that I always try to look for this kind of feeling in a relationship or maybe friendship. You made me want to be better. Kevin said the same thing before. Maybe this is your magic power. We talked about our future. Yeah, even if we don't have man in our life, we will have each other and live a happy enough life. I am not sure what will happen to me, but I think you surely can find a nice guy who is meant for you. You deserve it, and we will wait and see together.
By the way, there is a guy who talked to me in the music department of Eslite bookstore. I think he is Lasse from Sweden. He asked me to introduce some asia music for him to explore asian music. He just came to Taiwan to study Mandarin for one year. I picked 3 albums for him to try in the store and decide which one to buy. It's good to speak in English in my daily life. Recently I met more people speak in English than I did before ALC. Maybe the reason is I didn't expose myself enough or I can't talk this much to them before. It's interesting that when I talk in English, I feel more American in my blood. I am more open-minded to meet people and willing to do some social chat. I think that's why I gave him my number and name after he asked for it because I was kind of "cool."
I bought 2 CDs from Colbie Caillat there. I love her song "Realize" in the debut album. I listen to her latest songs in the store and then I decided to take her second album, too. I have been seeking for some American songs since I came back because I want to have more American culture in my room and they are also good English practice for me.
Also, I went to Aveda to buy some stocks.
Oh my god, it's 2:36 now...
